Comprised of frontman Christo Bowman, guitarist Ray Libby, bassist Gavin Bennett and drummer Miles Morris, Bad Suns formed in the sunny climes of Woodland Hills, California when its band members were in their late teens. Inspired by the gothic-tinged post-punk of The Cure and Elvis Castello, their distinctive sound fuses intricate, almost math rock-esque guitar riffs, unabashed pop hooks and existential angst that would make Robert Smith proud. If Mystic Truth's lead single 'Hold Your Fire' is anything to go by, the band hasn't lost their penchant for crafting soaring dream pop anthems.
