Social Distortion

Social Distortion at Rio Rancho Events Center

Why see Social Distortion?

Mike Ness And Co Bring The Noise!

Hailed as the godfathers of Punk, Social Distortion have spent their four decade career playing by their own rules to create a distinct brand of West Coast Punk Rock with a Rockabilly edge. While the band has seen multiple line-up changes, lead vocalist and guitarist Mike Ness has remained a constant leader, overseeing the release of seven studio albums and numerous world tours.

Social Distortion are still just as raucous, riotous and rebellious as they were when they first burst onto the L.A. Punk scene in 1978 and it seems their live concert-going fan base hasn't changed either; mosh pits still regularly spring up at gigs! Expect anti-establishment anthems, rock 'n roll guitar solos and copious tattoos!

Social Distortion at Revolution Live, Ft. Lauderdale

Social D put in a great show celebrating the 40th Anniversary of ‘Mommy’s Little Monster.’ Mike Ness and Co. also played some of their greatest numbers starting the show with “Bad Luck”. The band also played “Ball and Chain” and after an hour finished with two encores of Johnny Cash covers “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Ring of Fire”. It was my 13 y.o. son’s first concert experience and he is now a Social Distortion fan. The night was cool, breezy and for the last two numbers a light drizzle fell as the crowd sang along with Mike. Great show, great experience. ... Read more

Very good concert but Social Distortion missed the mark

The House of Blues provided a great venue for an evening of good music provided by Will Hoge and Social Distortion. Both bands sounded great. A large number of fans including myself were disappointed that Social Distortion decided not to include many of their biggest hits. I understand that it must be exhausting to plan the same hits year after year but your fans and paying customers want this. The pay their hard earned money to hear these sounds. If the musician is tired or playing it, retire. The hits made you stars, so show some gratitude by playing the hits. ... Read more
